I just cannot believe the judges and what Emma Bunton gets away with. Yes, she had some minor criticism tonight, but it did not reflect in the scores. Best Latin of the night. I don't think so. She barely did anything but pose and throw her arms around. And did she think that getting French and Saunders on would endear her to the GBP? I hope we are not that shallow. As i said in the title of this thread. Favouritism - she can't put a foot wrong.excuse the pun, whilst everyone else is criticised to within an inch of their lives. It just makes me so angry.

The judges tend to gloss over her mistakes and nitpick everyone elses.

Her first dance was interesting to watch...but I thought I was back in the 80s watching robotic dancing....she is good...but not that good and yet the judges gve her high scores? BIZARRO!!!!

It's obvious that the BBC want her in the final

The manipulation this week tonight and over the last two night's on SCDT2 has been so obvious that it just shows how thick the BBC think are their "target audience."

The only consolation is that if she doesn't go out tonight the public will try to keep her out of the final two.

I agree. It seems like the judges deliberately gave the other 3 worse scores so that she gets into the final!

If we're lucky she'll go tonight.

It was bizarre tonight...totally bizarre in the judges, and I thought they could not amaze me anymore.

I love Emma. She was my fave in the spice girls. But there defintely is favouritism!! Craig would still give her a 9 if she did all the wrong steps!

In my opinion both dances were utterly forgettable. And I like the Nelly Furtado song - shame her dance was so boring. BUT what will happen is that she'll be in the bottom two and will be magically saved in the dance off thing. That's my prediction.

But it would be genuinely so much nicer if Mark, Matt and Lousia were in next week's show.

It's because it's Emma, she could come on and do nothing and they'd still rant and rave and give her top scores.

I agree, it seems Emma gets treated with kid gloves by the judges while everyone else gets picked on for the minute detail.

It's so unfair - they're so inconsistent & it is so cruel to everyone else.

I actually liked her tango, but though Louisas was better a few weeks ago, and again Louisas rumba was better tonight!

I loved Emma's tango, but no way was that rumba better than Louisa's. No way.

I'm so glad I wasn't the only one who felt that way!

Why is anyone surprised? This favourtism has been going on since the series began. Apparently people have said the phone lines for Louisa and Vincent were blocked and they could not get through. We never know the exact number of phone calls any celeb gets, no numbers are mentioned so how do we know who actually won the popularity contest with the public!! Quite frankly, I believe Emma will win the competition no matter what happens. I am so bored, sick and tired of the whole thing I think I will give it a miss. I am beginning not to care who wins but I just KNOW who will!! FIX FIX FIX!!!

Ifyou think the BBC intentionally blocked phonelines then you are an idiot,Zoe ball was in the bottom 2 for 2 if not 3 shows last year and got to the final. No one accused the bbc of fixing the show then. When wll realise that an independent adjudicator monitors voing

Well last year - I could understand why Zoe was in the bottom two a couple of times. The judges loved her and I didn't personally believe that they over-marked her because I could see that she was technically good. however I didn't warm to her and therefore I didn't vote for her and I assumed the rest of GBP felt the same. Therefore no question of 'Fix'.

This year I just cannot see what the judges are raving about in Emma. I am not against her - I don't hate her - I just don't see what she is doing that is so good and every week when the judges give her 10 and rave, I naturally vote for someone who I do 'get' - which has changed over the weeks. What does Mark have to do to get a 10? His waltz tonight was flawless - as good as Matt's a couple of weeks ago, definitely better than Emma's last week but still no sniff of a 10?

And I was one of the people couldn't get through for Louisa in the dance-off because I loved her joie de vivre and thought that she lit up the dance floor despite some poor arm lines and occasional fumbles.

Surely during the rumba i saw darren actually push emma as tho she had completely forgotten what the next steps were, her face looked surprised and she was off balance for about 3 steps

Yes, I agree. I just can't see what's so good about Emma. Louisa, on the other hand has a real spark and, as you said, joie de vivre. I also agree that "she lit up the dance floor despite some poor arm lines and occasional fumbles." Well said.
