yes you are so right the bbc control the national phonelines and the judges who can barely stand each other at the best of times are conspiring too keep emma in.

How do you complain to the bbc?

I think all the lines were difficult to reach. I had great trouble getting through to vote for the two I thought were best on the night. I couldn't get through at all during Robin Hood.

Don't be so bloody rude and stop shouting you ignoramous!

Do you have the printed copy of the BBC's voting rules to scan? No! So I'm telling YOU they said clearly in series 2 when YOU obviously weren't watching that the public vote counts for 51% - Judges 49%

Anyway bog off, I can't tolerate rude numptys like you. Why the hell do the likes of you post on forums?

ETA: Just reported the first poster ever in my life.

I don't care anymore. I wont be watching next week. I've given up. What used to be my favourite program ever has now descended to the most biased disgrace ever. Next week I will be watching the X Factor

Do you think that was terribly wise as your own post was full of personal insults, swearing and rudeness?

Yes, quite wise, and it had the desired effect, as the argument is now resolved, so please mind your own business, and stop inflaming the situation.

Silly rude posts like yours are everyone's business. I was quite polite to you to point out that you were potentially getting into a silly situation, as you were clearly in breach of the forum rules so please don't now start being rude to me as well.

FYI, as I've already pointed out to you, the matter has been resolved, so why are you taking it upon yourself to act like a Moderator or Admin?

Stop patronising another poster and mind your own business, you are causing an uneccessarily stupid disturbance. I haven't breached any forum rules either, so this exchange is completely redundant.

ETA: If you seriously think my original reply to you was "rude and silly" you quite clearly haven't been reading any DS Forums in the 21st century.

If this exchange is redundant why are you persisting in it? I have no desire to be a moderator and it seems to be you who is telling me what to do rather than the other way round. My posts have been simple obvious and factual comment, no patronising involved.

My initial question was actually mainly aimed at helping you, though I have to admit that I was also just a little amused that you said that you had reported someone for being rude for using capitals (shouting) in a post where you had been far more offensive and called him an "ignoramous" and a "rude numpty". It seemed to me that in your obvious rather angry state you were very unwisely "taking it upon yourself to act like a Moderator or Admin", in a situation where you were much more likely to lose than win.

Attempting to justify your own rudeness by referring to other posters rudeness is not a valid point or argument.

If you don't think that you were in breach of the forum T&Cs, I suggest that you read them again . They include:-

"You must not post messages that are vulgar, crude, sexist, racist, homophobic or otherwise offensive. Always treat other Users with respect."

This thread smacks of the Will and Gareth so-called conspiracy! However, I don't doubt that people couldn't get through.

I guess more to the point is that in the event of a tie , it is the level of public vote which counts .
So 2 couples with the same total score and the one with the lowest public score goes .
I am afraid taht in any type of shwo where the viewers are encouraged to be partisan ,then inevitably conspiracy theories become part of teh scenario . i ahveoften felt teh judges can guage carefully to whom they give th highset marks in order to achieve a ceryain outcoem , howver , as we saw with aled and Julian in SCD2 , the public vote in weird and wonderful ways , backing those teh judges slate apparently unfairly and voting not for talent but for fun and entertainment.
By all means complain to teh BBC if you couldn'tget through , lines SHOULD be clear ad if not they should put in more .

I ma very surprised and sad Louisa went tonight , but her dancing was the weakest on the night . I thought she may have pulled up on ths vote in the dance off .

Thank you Erinfan, for being the voice of reason -I couldnt get through to Emmas line either. It seems there was a problem with both lines.
If Emma had gone last night, I would hope that I could have been gracious enough to accept it.

Can anyone actually tell us what the exact wording of the "BT message" was?

This sounds very similar to the situation we had during the series 3 final, where network congestion; i.e. the BT infrastructure not being able to cope with the volume of calls being placed, made it impossible at times to vote for either of Goughie & Lilia or Colin & Erin. However, the only way to identify where the problem lay is by obtaining details of the message (I called to vote for Emma about 20 times & got through on 12 of them, the rest of the time I just got an engaged tone or the numbe didn't ring.

I understand what your saying but how come both lines are busy thay must must accept the same amount of connections ie a draw or so close not be able to put a fag paper in between.
Unless there was a difference:
one danced first so the real dance fan who waited to see the difference between the dances & then the lines got bloked at full capacity, in which case he/she who dances first has an advantage by the fact here dance had been seen, and that makes up there mind to vote.

I have been wondering why we even had a dance off. I have posted elsewhere, on the 'Morning after the night before....again!' thread, that it seemed to be a total waste of time. they should have left it the way it was, with the dancer with the lowest scores leaving, instead of having the added stress of performing again. I also had trouble getting through to vote for L+V . It just seems to me that there was no need to change the format. Was this the twist we were promised?

I don't know about SCD being a fix but the bloody X-Factor damn well is ever since Ben said it was fixed in favour of Leona he's been in the bottom 2 once being saved by the judges once being saved by the public and he went this week... And his phone line WAS closed during the vote, didn't come up with a message it actually said this phone line is closed... Damn ITV... Nasty night...

SCD last night was an absolute TRAVESTY!

I for one also could not get through to vote for L&V so am absolutely disgusted by the BBC's behaviour & blatant favouritism for a certain ex-spice girl.....

I'm also complaining to the BBC (thanks for the link) but i'm also complaining to OFCOM (the tv watchdog) because whatever happened last nite was a FARCE!
