I liked Matt before he appeared on Strictly Come Dancing. I didn't actually vote for him (or anyone) in the first few weeks but now that he has shown such an improvement I am desperate for him to stay in and have voted.

And I am not blind.

But why would the judges want to lose Louisa if she is better than Emma?

Which would kinda defeat the phone to raise money for CIN pivot of the whole show!

That's the reason it is a popularity contest as much - if not more than a dance contest. It's what the Beeb want. They want people to connect with the celebs - it encourages people to vote - and more importantly - watch!
It's why the phone lines are open through the week, why there is a sister show in ITT, why they show VT, why they fill the audience with 'famous' faces supporting the dancers - and so on and so on.

This competition is a bloody joke if Dawson wins. Considering he's the weakest dancer out of the last five, and the fact that people like Ray, Carol and Louisa have been evicted before him, it's just stupid.

And I really cannot see what it is about his supposed personality that everyone likes... his dancing is boring, and in training he just comes across as a irritating, stroppy, competitive.. bloke.

To be honest, i'll only be totally happy if Mark wins now.

I'm was hoping for a Emma/Louisa/Mark semi, and a Louisa/Mark final, but now that lineup, which pretty much deserved it, is no longer possible.

I mean, Matt should've gone last week, Carol this week, Emma next, leaving way for a truly brilliant Mark/Louisa final.

Exactly. Come on, folks, let's not blame Matt or the public for Louisa going out when the judges put her bottom. It's bad enough that the judges would do that and then whinge when she lands in the bottom two. They complain when we don't agree, and complain when we do

I really don't like Matt. He really isn't that good and I can't see why people vote for him. I admit that he has improved quite a bit but he's not consistently good. I personally prefer the ones who have been good throughout rather than the one who has improved the most. He doesn't deserve to be where he is.

In your opinion. Personally I think he is the only one who has been consistently good in the last two weeks.

Well you`d better get used to the idea of Matt staying because I think he has got the win in the bag !

I have been supporting Louisa all the way through but on the basis of this Saturday night's dancing it was Emma, then Matt, then Louisa. Mark is overall the weakest. I have been listening to the red button commentaries and they confirm this.

Ugh. What a waste of a series.

Well, the Wurzelina household voted en masse for Matt and Lilia because we all thought they danced really well tonight - especially the samba, which had us on our feet cheering at the end. Simple as that!

Oh, and we all have exceptionally good eyesight, by the way...

Well, I was hoping for a Matt/Mark/Carol semi, because I think they were all better than Emma and Louisa. Although Emma and Louisa are both good dancers, I didn't enjoy their performances as much as Matt, Mark and Carol (I believe that Emma and Darren together have no chemistry on the dance floor, and Louisa often seemed to run to try and keep up with Vincent, which made her seem less "smooth")
