Oh dear so all the Emma haters have been proved wrong - shes not quite as unpopular as you think.

And now you're all saying it's disgraceful and a fix. Well it wasnt - Emma deserves to be there, so stop slagging her off for no reason whatsoever and get over it.

Its just sooooo sad you all slagging someone off - someone even said she DESPISED her, and you dont even know her. What sad, miserable lives you must lead if you do that.

Congratulations Emma - 2 brilliant dances tonight, you didnt put a foot wrong. Disappointed to see Louisa go, but in the end she hasn't improved much over the series and wasn't brilliant tonight - so probably a fair result

So now you are as childish and hateful as the 'haters' you think have been childish and hateful.

Congratulations.

love, she's been at the top of the leaderboard for two weeks running and yet in the bottom two!

Bit harsh, but amen to that.

IMO, the dance off should have been between Matt and Mark tonight.

Matt is still not good enough in the latin, and Mark seems to be either brilliant or poor, and can't seem to maintain any consistency.

Fair point, well made. I'm not Emma's biggest fan, nor do I intend to join in with the free-for-all against her, but I reckon I'm old enough and ugly enough to put up with others' opinions and not tell them to 'get on with it'.

Yes but Emma's dances are consistently no better than the other two and yet they get better marks. I have nothing against her personally, but they clearly weren't brilliant.

It's just that we can't work out how someone who comes bottom with the public somehow manages to win when it comes down to a public vote. I've got a maths degree and I can't fathom it at all.

Well you did call me a f*ing loser and said that I led a sad miserable life - personal abuse? Nah surely not

OP, do you really need to refer to personal critisicm to get your point across? Now that is sad.

We dont like your favourite? Take your own advice, please.

Im not against Emma, im against the judges overinflated opinion of her and of themselves!

If emma had survived say against Matt then i would say OK fair enough but the fact that Louisa was so undermarked and Emma so overmarked makes it hard to accept.

The fact that Emma went through doesn't necessarily point to a sudden upsurge in public support. It could have been tactical voting by Mark and Matt fans, who would have a much better chance of their fave winning if they were up against Emma, rather than Louisa, in the final.

all this post has done is gear up the haters to vote for mark or matt next week.

well done

Its just a bit disappointing, really. Why someone feels the need to come out and say that....

Emma may not have come last with the public tonight, she may have been second from the bottom, and Louisa last.

It was the just result tonight, Emma is unquestionnably the best dancer in this competition. I challenge anyone to argue that.

not one to pour water over your venom. but emma did put a few feet wrong, and saying your not slagging anyone off, when saying we all have sad miserable lives is a bit silly,
i have not liked emma's dancing, it does nothing for me, its wooden , and not has good has louisa's was,

in a group dance they did,(can't remember which one) but one of the judges, did say louisa, held her own with the female proffessioanals, that to me is the compliment she should always remember, and take with her from this farce of compititon and not the fake critisicim she had tonight to get emma through.

You accuse most of this forum of being bitter and twisted yet that's exactly how you come across yourself.

I don't support Emma but that doesn't mean I hate her.

It's very subjective as to whether Emma "deserves" to be in the semi finals. You could say that of every couple, including Louisa. Matt deserves to be there because he's improved so much, Mark because he's very good (if sometimes inconsistent), Emma is also a good (but not fantastic) dancer and Louisa always seemed to light up when she was on the dance floor. You can make a case for all of them.

It's also rather ironic that you say Louisa hadn't improved much - neither had Emma really. They're both good but have remained at about the same standard throughout the competition.

Finally it's hard to judge exactly how unpopular or popular Emma is without knowing how the dance off worked. If the judges scores were combined with the public one even after the dance off Louisa could have been more popular than Emma and yet still have been the one to leave.

I don't agree with people on this forum personally attacking any of the contestants but to be fair your post won't have helped matters. You've coome across as just as childish as the people you have railed against.

HaHa. It's only a competition. I just imagine all the Mark and Matt fans sitting at home and plotting....... So absurd, it's actually funny.

Wooden, boring, silly facial expression, flunked steps. All apply to Emma tonight (and actually to Mark and Matt at various points through the series too)

You said this:

Sounds like you're making a pretty harsh comment on people's personal lives. People that YOU don't know. How is that better than what you are blaming other people for? I don't see the difference, sorry.

Incidentally, I haven't been slagging Emma off at all. Saying people must have sad, miserable lives is being pretty insulting, IMO.

I certainly won't argue too much with that. She has been the most consistent throughout this whole series. Every dancer tonight was fabulous, but someone had to go; and because Emma was in the bottom 2, it seems like everyone has sour grapes?

I have never onced critisised Emma, for me her dances have been good.. they just havent been great and the judges/VTs/celeb backers have pushed and pushed and pushed her in our faces!

Just look at the whole thing last week with Emmas injury, but this week with Louisa's it wasnt mentioned even once during the main show (even though a doctor had said she may not be able to perform!)
