No we're not saying that at all, criticise all you like but don't personally attack her; like some people seem to do in this forum.

Got to agree with you there. I honestly dont know who i wanted to go tonight because both the lasses are good little dancers, they both have good and bad weeks, whereas the lads .....................

The only personal attacking I can see is the OP of this thread.
Im not saying I dont like Emma. I say I dont like the way she is overmarked and never gets critisized. Judges pet, you might say.

But there are many people saying Matt is boring and arrogant and false - if thats not personal I dont know what is.

I actually think its a VERY close call between her and louisa, as i said in similar post, they both have had their good and bad weeks i wouldnt say Emmas the dead cert best dancer at all. Had Matt gone tonight i would of been "may the best girl win, push yourselves further girls"
Ive seen louisa dance far better than Emma some weeks, and vice versa.

All these weeks, I have wanted Emma out because of the judges bias towards her. But I honestly thought she gave the best performances tonight. You could clearly see both girls were really upset. At that moment, I just felt really awful for wanting her out for something thats not her fault but the judges. Im glad she went through tonight.

And I must commend Darren tonight for supporting both girls.

Tonight has changed my opnion on Emma. I hope a lot of the publics feelings have changed as well, which they must have for her to have got through.

Throughout SCD it seems that Emma has had the support of most of the judges from day one. If they were judging things on just ability which they claim to do why did they support Emma, it seemed from the publics point of view, from the very first step. I wonder if a 3 line whip was used by the BBC to keep her in.

Personally I was not a fan of Louisa at the start. However as a keen dancer myself I have seen her love of dancing shine brighter each week, this alone should have been reflected in the judges marks. Her enjoyment of dance will I hope will spur younger people to the ballroom.

Next week I hope the best dancer on the night wins. As a man I know how much harder it is for the man so I hope its either Matt or Mark who ever dances better on the night.

I actually enjoyed the show tonight, I think all 4 couples did very well, we seem to forget that these people are not professional dancers and we should not expect professional standard from them. I have been a bit disappointed with Mark in the last couple of weeks, which I think is really down to the tough routine Karen has been putting together for him, she really really wants to win and that is good but I think she should keep it a bit less technical for him otherwise he could end up going next week. Matt for me has improved a lot but i really dont think he has improved to the extent Darren did at this point last year, of all the remaining couples he is probabley the weakest at latin. I dont really understand or like the attacks on Emma that at times are quite shocking and very personal. personally I dont think there is any need for that, she comes across quite sweet. I think the nail in her coffin with some forum members was that she was the bookies and judges favourate from day one and in true british style that annoyed a lot of people. of course everyone has their own view, but it would be so much nicer to come on her and not have to read some of the awful things said about contestants and now on each other. Some of the rants on here tonight have be quite painful to read.

Its just sooooo sad you all slagging someone off - someone even said she DESPISED her, and you dont even know her. What sad, miserable lives you must lead if you do that.

Congratulations Emma - 2 brilliant dances tonight, you didnt put a foot wrong. Disappointed to see Louisa go, but in the end she hasn't improved much over the series and wasn't brilliant tonight - so probably a fair result ”

Didn't put a foot wrong despite the fact she still doesn't heel lead in Ballroom???

Rose coloured specs by any chance?

I'm glad she got through but unfortunately she isnt going to win, yet again a male is going to win, just because the females are voting for them because they think they are gorgeous. It's supposed to be about dancing and Emma has been the best dancer all the way through IMO.

Well no she hasn't IMO. But what do you mean "yet again"?
Natasha and Jill were female, weren't they?
Darren was male, so that's 2-1 to the girls so far.
If Mark or Matt wins it'll be even stevens.

B******s - when you can make a justified and "grown up" post and back it up with hard facts - instead of this sycophantic Emma can do know wrong attitude and stop calling people who dare to disagree with you - then you have the right to challenge people IMO

At least the Bunton Bashers can see when their favourites make errors and remark accordingly they don't wear blinkers - unlike the Emma fans

IMO, both Emma and Louisa were better than both Mark and Matt.

Is Matt really the best dancer out of those four? Why does he keep coming top in the public vote? Oh yes, he's been on a j**rney!

You're right sadly. Emma is the best dancer but the show has become a popularity contest rather than a dance competition.

no way is emma the better dancer

louisa's cha cha cha was better then emma's
louisa's jive was better then emma's
louisa's paso doble was better then emma's
louisa's tango was better then emma's
louisa's samba was better then emma's

i could go on yet louisa got marked lower nearly all the time.

she isn't the best dancer IMO, either technically or artistically

and I don't see their chemistry - the rumba was totally soulless

To be fair, it is a lot easier to admit your favourite's faults when the majority of the comments about them on these threads are positive.

If a Mark fan came on here and saw 13 different threads about how awful he danced, how it was robotic and gurning, how he should have left tonight, how he was unfairly favoured etc. etc., would they be inclined to defend him or admit his mistakes? I think the defence of Emma is directly proportional to the offence towards her.

Mark fans certainly don't face this, and Matt fans face it to a lesser extent.

very well said. i like emma bunton i think she is lovely but the disgraceful favouritism is just cringeworthy and has ruined this series for me

Ah but she did, didn't she? The judges gave Emma 10s because she deserved them.

So because it is harder for men they should always win? OK, next year make it an all male contest.

A high proportion of the viewers of this programme no naff all about dance.
How many of them are represented in the 10% or whatever who do vote, we don't know.
Of the majority of those who do vote, very few vote for Emma for whatever reason.
This is an undeniable fact.

Whether the judges try to compensate for that is a matter of opinion.

It's just a "telly programme."
