Recording from satellite source

Hello
Thinking of getting digihome pvr160 but as freeview with me isnt very good yet, few channels. I watch mostly satellite TV and wondered what they are like from external sources like my humax 5400 on scart or even analogue TV via a tuner.
Do they record from analogue sources on scart.

Thanks

Unfortunately it won't do this. Virtually all PVRs will not be able to perform this function as it would require having a MPEG decoder chip on the box. This would drive up the cost of the box and would propell it out of the budget PVR market

Try looking at the PVR's in the £200-£300 mark, possibly Humax or Topfields might have this feature.

Thanks Farpoint, youve saved me wasting a 100 quid, it wouldnt be much use untill they roll out digital.
cheers
