reasons why life in 'EastEnders' is sometimes better than real life...
I've got an example:
fights and punch-ups in the Vic or elsewhere (whether between two people, or a whole group) rarely result in a police arrest. Well, if I so much as slapped somebody in public, I'd get arrested and charged with assault, and never be able to get a job - or so I've been told! Some of the best EE fights, in my opinion, include the war between the Slaters and the Hunters at Andy's hijacked wedding to Kat (in late 2003), and the fight at Joe and Pauline's wedding, this year - even if the refreshments did end up on the floor! I wouldn't have to travel to work every day.(unless I'm Bradley but he's always got the morning off)
Oh and here's something stupid. They say that kids who watch soaps aren't inspired to follow thier ambitions because thier fave characters work on a market stall! I'd know when something bad was going to happen, because bad things only happen when it rains. |

You wouldn't need to worry about having room for guests as every house would have at least five bedrooms upstairs, despite the ground floor only having space for two cramped rooms.
No need to bother with estate agents or solicitors when selling a house or business. Just draw up your own contract and hand over a bag of cash. |

Lost relative? Be patient - remain in Albert Square for about a year, and they'll track you down!

Pat's too at the minute, with the Wickes and Fox clans in her house. Presumably there are separate rooms there for Pat, Kevin & Denise, Deano, and at least two rooms for some combination of Squiggle, Chelsea and Carly. As of Friday the whole bunch of them have come home to a house where Bert has also moved in. It's one of those quirks of the soap...

Soaps are meant to be entertaining. If they reflected real life, we would just be watching people eat and watching TV.

Awaiting in the Vic until Peggy announces that drinks are on the house which is most likely everyday.
