No headphone socket - ideas?

My new LG LCD TV Model : 32LC2D = briliiant compared to my old tv..and 100% delighted..

but theres no headphone socket... but theres a "variable output" set of sockets... look like phone plugs..

so (1) could I use these as an output?

(2) is there a suitable adaptor - from these outputs to stereo headphone input?

Tall order..but the manual misses out this set out outputs!

These are line level outputs, variable means they are controlled by the TV's speaker volume setting. You can connect them to any line level input on your Hi-Fi amp and use it's headphone output.

Fixed Output is usally better. That way you turn down the TV volume to disable the TV speakers. You may find that using the Variable Output requires you to use the Mute button, and leaves a hideous green crossed out speaker on the screen!
