Actually, if you want to apportion blame, that was the judges and the public.

Emma hasn't impressed me as much as (largely through press hype before the show started and perhaps partly through my general impression of her as a performer) I thought she might.

But I think overall she's done a decent job, deserved to go a fairly long way through the competition, and I don't blame her personally for any of the results/outcomes on the show so far.

Absolutely, that's the point.

In what kind of world are YOU living?
For God's sake WAKE UP, it's not the end of the world for Louisa: she's healthy, she has money and she raised her profile with the show. And above all, she certainly doesn't even give a f*ck about you, so why feel SO concerned?”

well said, agree wholeheartly

... and what did she do to make her cry, beat her up and steal her pcoket money?

For goodness sake, why can't you just accept the situation instead of making these wild accusations.

Ah, so she's being blamed for one or two silly things on a forum that represents a miniscule percentage of the british public?

Peronally, I have nothing against her, she just doesn't entertain me as much as some of the other contestants have done.

I really don't know why people are getting so worked up about a few little things that have been said- she has absolutely nothing to do with you or any person connected to you.

I understand that people do feel the need to defend her, but in doing so you've probably spurred a lot of people to then in turn defend their favourite and thus cause World War III. Therefore I think this whole discussion should just be stopped before more accusations start flying over.

If you read the so-called 'Anti-Emma' threads, the vast majority of the debate centres on this perceived bias (and the fact that Emma obviously has a hot line to The White House and wsa UNDOUBTEDLY instrumental in Bush initiating the Iraq war)
I rest my case.”

Nail. Head. Hit.

I'm sick of being told I'm an "Emma basher" or "bullying poor Emma" for pointing out the blatant judge bias.

I'm just trying to make the point that, if the judges are biased towards Emma, how is it her fault?

I agree completely.

Has anybody said it IS her fault? Feel free to point me to some posts that show this. It's just unfortunate for her that she is the recipient of some shocking overmarking, and people are objecting to that - she just symbolises it. If it was another competitior, that same thing would be happening. Happened with Zoe.

It just sums up what has been totally wrong with this series; everybody taking things far too personally.

Very few posters have said that it is Emma's fault. There are the odd few who have taken the opportunity to make vitriolic posts about Emma and have descended to the depths of making distasteful, personal comments about her. The vast majority have not.

Perhaps not, although it seems to me like people are using the judges as an excuse to get rid of her. I agree with you that if it was anyone else the same thing would be happening, I just feel sorry for her should she read any of the things that are posted about her.

And yes, sometimes the celebs/pros do visit the forum occasionally.

How about, prompting someone to start a silly thread?

Don't forget the lack of NHS dentists...and have you heard about the state of our education system...I've heard somewhere that Emma's responsible for both...

Th OP sounds a tad overemotional. Overtired perhaps?

I have one word of advice for the OP too - so some people are upset that Emma was chosen over Louisa and have the sheer audacity to say so on a forum? GET OVER IT yourself!

Emma is getting blamed for everything as far as I can see, the most ridiculas one of all being leaking the story to the press about Mark in order to gain votes for herself. Honestly guys; surly you must see how daft this is. all though I actually do think she was responsible for the polonium 210 contamination!! poor Emma, I really hope she reads this forum, quite funny really
