Thanks for that! It is good to hear the real reason, rather than endless speculation about a 'fix' or 'bbc bias'.

There usually is a logical reason for most things, and obviously in this case it was purely a practical camera and production issue rather than anything contrived.

Thought it might be something as simple as that!! Some people read WAY too much into minor things!

Unfortunately, although it turns out there is a valid reason, wherever Emma had danced I feel some people would have said it favoured her in some way. In the same way that there is a suggestion that the phone lines were rigged to prevent people voting for Louisa. Many people also tried to vote for Emma and found her line to be engaged permanently - all it shows is how many people were trying to vote, it's a simple as that.

All the possible mishaps should have been considered before the dance off.

I hope they don't do a dance off again.

It doesn't seem like there was nearly enough time for people to get their votes as one couple HAS to dance before the other.

The phone lines were very busy before teh dance off , lots tried to get through for Mark and couldn't , one person eventually getting through after about 50 times ,
I voted for Louisa but I know . others couldn't

unfortunatel the dance off was pointless as it emm already had a points total of 4+1=5 and louisa had 2+2=4 .
The score were carried forward so how could that have changed enough for louis ato go through .

Louisa wouldn't have had two points as she came bottom with the judges, so would have only had one from them.

Oh, and before anyone starts moaning about this thread and says *get over it*, we are getting over it, and moving on, by asking a question or saying when I tried to vote for Louisa in the Dance Off the phoneline was permanently blocked, it doesn't mean I'm saying it was fixed. I've read one or two nasty comments criticising me for starting that thread, so don't bother reading this one if you're going to moan.”

im not over it

People are still cross-analysing this?!

It's over - Louisa will be back in the Christmas special anyway. It's not life or death, its a TV show!!
