Thinking of buying one of these. Have read great reviews about it. They usually have firmware issues but this one seems to be ok according to everything I have read.

I have one question before I buy it. I know it's a Freeview PVR but can someone confirm for me whether I can record my NTL through the RF?

I don't think so no, it only records from it's Freeview tuner. But, for the price, it's a really good little box.

I got my parents one and it's extremely easy to use, seems very reliable so far, and was set up inside 2 minutes.

This box does seem to be a good pvr for the money. I did want to get rid of my vcr, so it's a shame it can't record another rf source. I'm not even botherd about recording through scart. Oh well, I may have to look at a hdd recorder. It's just finding one without all the firmware issues!
