I feel completely torn about Emma.

I think she is underrated by some people as she is a good dancer and that makes me feel sorry for her. However I think she is overrated by others as she's not IMO a fantastic dancer and so that makes me frustrated. At times she has been terrific and derserved her marks like the Tango and I'm left really impressed. Other times, especially in latin I see her make basic mistakes which get ignored like the legs and hips in the Rumba and I end up yelling at the scores.

She's had an advantage coming into the show not through stage school, but her experience performing live in front of a large audience. On the other hand this has worked against her as she was always expected to be amazing and her favourite tag put people off from the start.

She is probably technically the best dancer left in the competition, but to me she dances from the heart the least out of all of them - and that is an important part of dance.

As you can see I could go either way and vote for her or against her on Saturday. However the thing that is tipping the balance for me at the moment is the Emma lovefest that is going on during ITT. I don't think it has always happened, but recently I think it has become obvious and especially tonight. They might as well have had a bright pink 'vote Emma' neon sign in the background during the whole show. I think it's very unfair. Yes they all get coverage and will all have a day on ITT, but it is what they say not how often they are on. Karen didn't get a 20 minute 'you're wonderful' vt yesterday did she! It really is beginning to push me into the Matt and Mark camp.

Yes, it's a conspiracy by the BBC to make me everyone's favourite poster. I've got Matt Cutler, The Pope and Santa on ITT tomorrow supporting me. They'll be a montage of my best posts (ignoring all my typos obviously)

Honestly, I have enjoyed everyone left in the competition in different dances and really don't mind who wins. It would be fairly entertaining to watch this forum explode in a shower of pink and indignation should it be Emma. Although no where near as entertaining as the XFactor forum should Ray win. [/quote]
They will praise your typos; it's the new way of spelling!
I am not sure it would explode in indignation - I think she is going to win. I will not vote for her because she is not my favourite but in the end, I do not care enough about these shows to be indignant. I care enough about this forum being pink though....I am not sure it should be so 'sexist'.
I myself feel it is worth Ray winning just to see the nationwide uproar. I have not had a favourite in that this year so it will amuse me immensely to see Eddie Munster raise the trophy - for the sheer farce of it! However, not as much as it would have amused me to see the Macdonald's raise it!
Is the Queen not on board with the conspiracy yet?

My opinion is that whenever i switch the tv on Emma is there and its getting a tad annoying but thats neither here or there. The same is true for john barrowman. Ever since i found out he was gay he's been everywhere rubbing my face into it. (and yes im still devastated). Anyway i dont think its Emmas fault. And believe me i never thought i would be saying that about Emma. Unfortunatly her dancing still lacks pizazz, and her partnership with Darren is bland. But oh well. t'will be over soon and we'll all get hooked on celeb BB anf completley forget about all this.

Remember: Christmas is a time for peace and good will to all men, even Emma Bunton. (sorry im high on sugar)”

That really is the sad thing about it all . If only the BBC and SCD team would realise they are a big part of the reason Emma wasnt getting the public support, she may not have ended up in the bottom 2 a couple of weeks in a row and this forum would be a far easier place to live !!

This weeks daily plugging of her on ITT isnt helping either by the look of it.

Ooooooooh nasty nasty - no need for personal attacks. My floating vote was actually with Louisa and had been for a couple of weeks - I was pondering as to who would get it now as to be honest (and please don't have a go for my next statement) Mark doesn't really excite me.
You are going out of your way to incite bad feeling - re read my post and I'm sure you might actually realise there is an element of humour in it!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
ps unless you have also developed mind reading skills you have NO idea as to who I would be voting for now do you.

What a disgusting thing to say and I actually like Emma.

Personally cannot see her being favoured though and I am not a mad obsessed fan, as I have said before - I'm just saying it how I see it. I think dodgey things can be found in all the contestants and the show. Perhaps I should be saying it is unfair that Darren doesn't know the AT as well as the two girls? If you look hard enough you will find something!! And that is with anything. Can you not just try and enjoy the show and shut up about Emma? As you all say she is not your favourite and all that but you sure as hell talk about her enough!

I like all the contestants and don't have an obvious favourite but think Emma is the better dancer. I am not bothered about people discussing her negatively or postively but do you realise how much of a broken record you all sound?!?! LOL

Iam going all scientist. I bet the beeb are loving all this activity with Emma lovers and haters. But has anyone not wondered if we are not being experimented upon by the Beeb. I feel this extra profiling that Emma has got on ITT, is to see if it has any effect on voting patterns, and that it may be used in other BBC stuff. If this is the case the Beeb are doing a great dis- service to the GBP and also to Emma as they could be ruining any chance the lady has got at winning the trophy. If not then they are a fairly stupid lot who haven't learnt a thing from at least the past 2 series of the GBP hating being patronised.

It was like the Emma Bunton show. The BBC don't know when to let it go, do they? It can't be helping her chances...or can it? Maybe they are waring us down. I think they are. I'm beyond getting angry now.

So, someone wants me to bring jump in the river sooner rather than later - whatever.

I am glad that the majority of posters agreed that tonight's show was just a little too one-sided to be enjoyable.

I think it's not just about Emma. I think tonight's ITT was kinda tribute to Darren as a teacher and choreographer.

To be honest, I think for the first time I am seeing some connection between Emma and Darren. They gave each other that knowing looks and little smiles that I believe cannot be faked. They are coming out stronger after being voted to be the bottom two for so many weeks now.

I mentioned before I think Emma DIDN'T realise how hard she needs to work to earn herself a place in the finals, but now I think she's getting it. It's not too little too late, IMHO, I think if she continues to do well with her Salsa and the Argentine Tango, she'll earn her place in the finals.

Whether I think she should win the finals, that's a completely different matter altogether.

Wonder who will be sacrificed this Saturday. Methinks it'll be one of the male celebs...

Unless we have the dwts style of turnaround - where the bottom two are waiting to hear who is going and then no-one goes - it would make a very very interesting final then with ALL three of them in it.

Personally I think the final would be better with all three.

More dances to watch for starters

First ever Post ...............

Have to say the BBC's impartiality is so widespread it's impossible to avoid

Radio 2 today - Terry Wogan - we're rooting for |Emma here - it's for CIN you know - forgive me but all the other celebrities have contributed indirectly in massive amounts via thye telephone lines and please don't tell me that anyone is naive enough not to realise that Downtown coincided spookily with Miss Bunton's latest album - coincidence my A****....

Steve Wright - also actively endorsing Emma

Have to say that this is becoming the most politically contentious SCD thus far.

I'm supporting Matt and Mark by the way - trying to redress the balance

Err -I wasnt being nasty -I just know from reading your posts that you dont support Emma and Darren. I am certainly not going out of my way to incite bad feeling -I never do. In fact, I would be happy for any of the remaining three to win(although Mark doesnt excite me either)
You must admit, there have been numerous posts in which you have admitted you dont really enjoy Emma and Darrens dancing. I am actually very upset that you are accusing me of 'personally attacking' you for stating that I doubted you would vote Emma based on the fact you have said on many occasions she is 'overmarked and over rated'. If you feel my post was a personal attack, push the alert button.

I agree.

I don't believe the BBC is conspiring anything to get Emma votes lol, and this whole thing about what the bbc is "doing" on it takes two will actually jeopardize her votes - what?! Surely people can think for themselves, look at the dances, judge what they like best and vote for their favourite? And if people do refuse to vote for Emma just after what they believe is happening on ITT then that's just silly, and very unfair to Emma. Someone said this: but after tonights little debacle there is NO WAY I will vote for Emma now. I actually can’t believe you said that, do you have any idea how ridiculous that is? It’s not Emma’s fault that the guests on today’s show happened to favour Emma! It is their own opinion.

I for one, hope Emma wins because I love her, she is clearly the best dancer, with I believe, the best personality.

I accept that you are not a mad Emma fan but I cannot see how you can possibly compare these two facts
that in a competition where the finalist need to do all the available dances and Darren simply happens to get one in the semi which he doesn't know as well
against a 20 MINUTE lovefest on what a terrific choreographer he is.

The first - no bias!
The second - bias obvious to most people, including a lot of unbiased people who have become very fed up being called Emma B******

You think she's the best!
I don't think she's the best dancer...think its fairly even, although Mark and sometimes Matt have a bit more sparkle in their performances

I think that's how the producers expected him to perform all the way though. Must admit he's been the biggest surprise, to everyone.
It'd look bad if she accompanied the winner two years running wouldn't it?
The BBC wouldn't want to be accused of undue influence.

So you're voting on personality! Craig won't like that!

And criticising others who you believe are voting on personality - although most of them are willing to explain either technically or not, why they are (were) supporting other contestants!
