Can I just say what a welcome addition the trees are to ITT.

It is so refreshing to find guests that are always impartial, and are not "swayed" by the opinion of others. Indeed, they "leaves" the talking to other people.

I hope that ITT "branch" out and have the trees as regular guests. They are very "poplar".

No I HATE the trees - I think they have been on ITT far too much this week -every night! And Claudia is always mentioning them -possible BBC conspiracy to get the trees to the final?

To quote Claudia last year "Oooh look at the Christmas trees"

I rather like them, I can see her putting a Matt/Mark mask on each one.

I don't think I'm the only one that's a bit worried that the trees might have swayed their support to Emma & Darren by the end of the week

I assume the one with the pink baubles is supporting Matt (in honour of his pink Cha Cha shirt).

Sorry Dino, I meant the Strictly Bridget Jones thread.

Think Claudia was so uncomfortable tonight about all the other support someone was getting that she gave Mark and Matt a tree each to even it up. It doesn't but well done Claudia. Loved the trees.

Thank you Coronis and Lady Boz!
I am a failed writer so will take a look and see if I can muddle together some excrutiatingly bad prose so I can join in and remember when this forum was nice * stares dreamily into the distance*

I have to say that the trees have impressed me with the manner in which they nailed their colours to...to, er... themselves! I totally respect the way they have 'rooted' for Mark and Matt. That said, the one on the left looked as if it was wavering slightly. Possibly it might be worth canvasing its opinion again tomorrow?

Will the trees be getting their own regular slot on ITT? I mean, if one of the judges is unavailable to comment on how ghastly the latest training session is perhaps the trees could be asked to step in? Might 'spruce' up the show a little!

Talking of which, does anyone know which way their own trees will be voting on Saturday? Mine was undecided until I wired it up to the electricity...soon changed to a vote for Mark!

I too have enjoyed the trees' contribution to the proceedings. They are always immaculately dressed, don't appear to be flogging anything...except christmas, mayhap, and always quietly take everything in before informing Claudia of their opinions....Claudia can speak to trees because she is a little fringy girl wood nymph fairy being, (can't you tell by those shoes??)

Oaky doaky. Fir what it's worth, I think that bringing the trees into it was a dangerous move. Maybe Claudia just wanted to spruce things up a bit. But...

How long before people twig that it's just another branch of some conspiracy or other? "Hah!", you cry, "that old chestnut! Aren't you sycamore and more 'conspiracy' nonsense?"

But do those trees know their ash from their elder...?

Maple I should stop now

Just come in from yet another company Christmas p*ss up and had to have a quick look and fell about laughing. I'm not quite up to speed on the puns being ever so slightly merry but I'm sure after a couple more oaked chardonnays I'll think of some woody puns.

Keep up the good work
