Its was released in the USA November and reached #12 in the Billboard Top 100. I really like it...does anyone know if there are plans to release it in the UK?

Sorry to bump a really old thread but just wanted to say I have been revisiting the 'Loose' album and this song is still so stunning. It's a rare pop gem imo. Great then but just as great now. It also has a slightly haunting quality to it instrumentally. Just an incredible track

Such a shame her Spirit Indestructible comeback was such a shambolic flop of epic proportions

Was listening to this the other day, it's probably one of Timbaland's better songs.

Yes it did flop

But I liked a handful of songs: Big hoops, parking lot, spirit indestructible

I've always liked this one. I like quite a few of Nelly Furtado's songs. "Powerless (Say What You Want)" is a personal favourite.

Love this song and the Loose album.

I never really got the love for this song. I love Nelly and loved Loose, but at the time I remember being baffled why this song was getting so much love. I find it a bit boring to be honest

'All Good Things' on the other hand is brilliant. Although not quite as brilliant as 'Try'!

I know I've never seen an artist drop as hard as Nelly did. In 2006/07 she was everywhere. I loved The Spirit Indestructible too - it didn't deserve to be ignored like it was. Same goes for her Greatest Hits. That didn't even make the top 50 over here I don't think! I quite liked 'Night is Young' from that too.

Funny that i have been listening to Loose recently, its one of my favourite albums of the 2000s. Along with her 1st album.

Wasn't really into anything she released after that album, i didnt really like The Spirit Indestructible, i think i only ever got through the whole album 1 1/2 times before i just tossed it into my ever growing crap pile. Shame really, as she was very good once upon a time

One of the better pop stars of the last 10-15 years, without doubt.

Been listening to 'Loose' a lot lately and Say It Right has aged so well! It's 10 years old next year! (the song's single release and video).

I guess actually it's a decade old this year as Loose was released in 2006 but you know what I mean!

I've just discovered an amazing bop from her flop "Spirit Indestructible" album called Waiting For The Night...it deserved to be a huge hit

I love that song and it's much better than Big Hoops (Bigger the Better) which I believe was the lead single from Spirit Indestructible?

The Spirit Indestructible has some great tracks on it. I wouldn't say it was a poor album at all

Maybe Nelly wiped it from history lol

I'm kidding, it's a great album. Such a shame it under performed the way it did. I actually liked the lead single Big Hoops tbh

I never quite understood the meaning behind Big Hoops (Bigger the Better) as "hoop" is slang for bumhole, but I doubt Nelly was being so crass

I can confirm Big Hoops was not about bumholes

I remember an interview where she said it was about her younger self when she'd wear big earrings thinking she was really cool and probably looked silly but because she was basically a kid she never realized or cared
