From Sony web site:
BRAVIA ENGINE BRAVIA ENGINE is the high picture performance engine used in the latest Sony LCD televisions. An original picture tuning and noise reduction process was developed by Sony to guarantee vivid and high contrast images. The complex noise reduction process enhances low contrast images until they are crisp and realistic, and processes blues, greens and whites within each frame to generate the richness and colour accuracy. So just a maketing name for their signal processing. This set is available for £651 (inc. del.) if you search Pricerunner. A glass stand will cost between £50 (Ebuyer) and £100. |

If you go to AV Forums and read-up about this TV you will be advised that it is not wise to go for the U model and the reasons will be given. Search using the key words Sony, KDL32U2000. I have just been to that forum and there is quite a lot of information about your TV, too much to copy for you.
