Just updated to 1.00.10, no problems. But when I pressed the Text button, nothing happened. Then when I pressed the Menu button twice then the Text button worked. Anyone else get this?

Dont know if this is just a one off or consistant but try doing the reset to default settings first and then see if TEXT works. Dont press text until MHEG has been delivered on the channel you are on - which is normally within about 5 seconds (you will see the icon for it appear in the status bar.

I did the reset to default as soon as I updated. It does seem a bit inconsistent now. I tried it on ITV and it required 2 presses of the Text button. I'll experiment a bit and see if there's any pattern to it.

I have had this problem for an age now. I am consistanly going into the guide and out again to get txt to work. Upgraded to v10 last night so will try it again. Also may need to be a little more patient as Marc suggested and wait for the little icon.

If it is an issue, it's defo not been introduced by v10.

Just been through all the text enabled channels on mine......all working perfectly, and in any case as far as I am aware the MHEG engine has not been altered in this release.

I normally wait for the info banner (default 5 secs) to go, then press text, or red button whichever interactive is required.

I now think it's just a matter of being too eager to press the Text button and not waiting for the banner display to finish, and then about half a second. Sorry for wasting time!
