Hopping between this forum and the "forum" at PVRUK, I see version numbers ranging from 3.9, 4.4, 4.9 and 5.3

Anyone know what the latest official version is and, if it's 5.3, was it transmitted over the air?

This prompts me to raise an allied question. As I understand it the twin_record upgrade some of us have installed is “unofficial” as far as the Digihome box is concerned. Is there any possibility that the box could subsequently automatically download a new “official” upgrade which it thinks supercedes the twin_record (but actually doesn't) and in the process therefore remove the twin_record?

You can switch off automatic update in the configuration menu.

Did anyone notice the download PVR 80 on 3 Feb.

As it's marked "Provisional" does that mean it's a new one? It says down the page that

Ive got 5.4 is that the newest version

It's newer than mine that I got at the start of december (3.9) and the one I upgraded manually to (4.9) and also than the one I've seen some people have for the same Vestel box(5.3). Looks like it'll definately be worth a download for me anyway.
