Just installed software v1.00.10 and loader v4.09 reset box to defaults and now the sound levels are so low I need my amp cranked up to almost full to hear anything at all. Same response if it's connected to the TV sound.

I've made no changes to the amp or the connections so I'm guessing it must be the new software!

I seem to remember in the early days there was a hidden menu but I can't remember how to find it or what was in it. Is there a volume setting anywhere that I've forgotten about?

Has anyone else had the same problem?

What, apart from the volume control (on the Humax remote)?

I don't use the Humax remote as everything is programmed in to a universal remote - everything, that is, except the volume buttons! I'll dig it out from the back of the cupboard. Thanks son_t

The Humax's output is pretty low anyway which is annoying, but no change with new software I don't think.

Yeah the reset will set the volume on humax box back down to halfway - I had to stick it back up to full to get back to what I had before the release...
