Pink Floyd Fans...
Don't forget to watch tonight BBC1 at 23.35pm the Floyd's Earls Court concert where they performed The Division Bell for the first time. I was there, it was brilliant but I can't believe how long ago it was. (1994)

Is that something different to 'Dark Side Of The Moon' ?........
Radio times says they are playing 'dark side' live...... Never was much of a floyd fan......Dark Side of the Moon is the only album I know, was thinking of recording it.......... |

Christmas came early for me.
I knew nothing about this broadcast and switched on the TV for some reason just as the announcer said it was about to start. I hit the Sky+ record button but even better, I just had time to get the DVD recorder tuned in and recording manually with.... 2 (literally 2) seconds to spare! I hit the STOP button exactly as it finished. A perfect PF DVD recording for free - with no extra rubbish before or after it I've had the DSOTM album for over 30 years... maybe I'll get the Pulse DVD one day...

Was a total surprise for me too. Haven't got round to buying the PULSE DVD yet, so top marks to the bbc for showing this, even if it was just the dark side part.

The PULSE DVD is amazing. Especially if you have 5.1 surround sound. It's just brilliant. My only annoyance is that I either watch it in stereo on my normal telly or in surround sound on my 12" laptop.

It was actually shown in full on the BBC many years ago, together with a programme featuring interviews with the band. I recorded it on video at the time, and still have it. You must get Pulse on dvd though, it is brilliant. |

I was at this concert with my son the night it was filmed and there were BBC cameras all over the place. The concert was shown on BBC before being released as Pulse.
