I always thought T Pau were fab

the music brilliant and Carol the hottest
rock chick on the planet.

It was almost as if they d invented a
new genre of rock
like china in hand a kind of slow rock
but intense .
Listening to their music I thought they
must be amazing in concert, they had already got a good repatary together.
I could imagine them selling out massive gigs even stadiums.

But then it all seemed to go phut
nothing happened, no sell out tours of the usa
or even the UK

wot happened ? did Carol suddenly lose her desire to be the worlds hottest rock chick ?

A bit like take that T Pau stopped just when they were makin it big

I saw T'Pau in concert 3 times and they were very good indeed. As the majority of the band were from my home town of Telford I gave them my full support and bought all their singles and albums too.
I guess they had their day and lost popularity as time went by and eventually split-up.
I believe T'Pau are still touring every so often but Carol is the only original member of the band.

I had all their albums and singles, but never got to see them live as I was too young and no-one would take me.

I had one of their live concerts on video, and they were fantastic. Unfortunately that video tape is residing on a shelf at my Mum and Dad's house, so I can't tell you much more about it.

I know Carol Decker did a lot of those 80s revival tours, but I heard she could be a bit grumpy if the audience weren't ready and waiting in their seats when she came on stage, lol.

Saw them on the Here and Now 80s tour a few years ago. They weren't first on the bill so most of the audience were waiting for her

I saw a vid of T Pau in concert,
I think it was at the Hammersmith Odeon.

Carol was fab, the music was fab, etc,
but I had a suspicion that Carol was getting
a bit bored with being a rock star
as though she thought, done that, got
the tee shirt, wots next.
and so everything seemed to grind to a halt.
I m sure if she would have had half of
the drive of Madonna she would be doing
world sell out tours right now
selling out stadiums across europe and america.
Still, I suppose we can t complain, we ve got some great albums, and Carol is st6ill knocking about, even if its only on some poxy TV knockout show.
Madonna can keep her millions
and bore us to death with Abba rip offs from now to eternity
