These 3 are fab. They were on GMTV earlier in the week and they do songs with a 40's take. They were singing Jingle Bells in the style of 40's music.
2 days later, they appear on This Morning - I have to say they are a great act, and have appeared all over the world. I wish i had a link to their appearance on This Morning or GMTV. oh they have Jingle Bells released

really bizarre some of the songs though.

Saw them in Borders in Manchester a few months ago by chance, they were playing to about 20/30 people but they did really well. My little girl liked them so we bought the CD and the girls signed it for her - really nice ladies - good luck to them.

I saw the girls on TV a few months ago. I like their look, I like their style and I like their music.

If I had one little criticism, it's that they seem to rush through every song at breakneck speed. I wish they slow it down a little, then they'd really make the music swing.

I mean exactly what I say.
They rush through all their songs and the melody gets lost.

Unsure if you meant THEY you see. Anyway, listen to a jazz tune from the 40's and spot the difference, but as you say, you don't like them so that is upto you. I personally enjoyed their rendition of Jingle Bells this week on TV

I think they're great. Good luck to them. I hate comments of "old hat" because some young people aren't singing or, even worse, rapping about shooting or sha**ing each other and choosing to follow a style of music that can still be called music.

I would have thought twice about calling ourselves The ?????? Sisters if that was my surname though.

I though they sang badly at the Royal Command Performance concert, out of tune.

The idea for a 40's style female trio is a good one and they should keep at it .

This is sad but when I saw them on TV as mentioned earlier, I felt like doing the charlston (sp) Lambeth Walk lol

They are different and maybe it is because I've seen them this week, but I think they are a breath of fresh air

That is the point I made earlier..... but I wouldn't be too critical of them. I would like to see and hear more of them.... as a previous poster mentioned, they're like a breath of fresh air.

In today's tedious music scene.... something different is a must, to break up the monotony of boy/girl bands, R&B, hip hop etc, etc. Good luck to the girls.

Applaud your comments

I started the thread because I loved their Jingle Bells tune and I hope this week it gets air play

Didn't like the couple of songs I've heard at all. Do they only do cover versions or have they got some original songs as well?

Really wanted to like them but, they butchered a song by the andrews Sisters and that ain't kosher!
