Audio hum on NTL setup

I have just moved house, and set up the TV/NTL box exactly as it was in the old house, same positions etc. However, I'm now getting a low "hum" noise from the TV speakers whenever the NTL box is switched on. I've installed a Cambridge Audio gold connector Scart, which has made it better - but it's still there. Am I doing something wrong?

it cud be pickin up static,like feedback between a guitar and an amp
