What do people think about baby Grimshaw being dumped on the doorstep of Number 11 on Christmas Day?

It'll involve more screentime for Jason and Sarah, so I don't like the sound of this at all.

Not neccesarily, from what I have read Jason is set to chase the new girl who takes over Diggorys Bakery (I can't think of her name)

She wants to turn it into a chipper but with Charlie dead Jason thinks he can do it himself, only cus he wants to bed the girl.

I believe she is part of Sinbad's Family as her family are set to turn up shortly after

It is not confirmed that Sinbad will be joining and if Michael Starke has any sense he will keep well away from Cartoon St.

Personally any storyline involving Sarah's whining, in fact, any storyline involving Sarah these days I'm bored.

From what I've read in Xmas TV guides, Jason only makes an effort with Holly (the baby) so he can get back with the vile slapper.

He should be with Violet

I hope to God it IS Jasons, because Eileen will be devastated, if they came to take it away.. it'll be too much to watch...

then Pathertic Sarah, will tell pathetic Jason, that she'll have his baby, which will unite the Grimshaws and the pethtic Platts...

yip.. I dislike the charatcers 'the Platts'... all of them...

MERRY CHRISTMAS!!

I think it sounds absolutely terrible. If the writers wanted to give jason and Sarah a storyline then I'm sure they could have came up with a lot better than this unoriginal tripe. I am not looking forward to it at all.

I can't stand jason, or sarah for that matter. But, i don't think we can accuse this of being an unoriginal story. Pregnancy/abortion/death/affair - these are unoriginal. A baby left on a doorstep for a young man is certainly interesting.

I'm worried that jason and sarah may not be able to pull off such a story with huge potential, but i am willing to wait and see how they do, before judging.

Everyone keeps going on about wanting nore screen time for eileen grimshaw, and now the opportunity seems to be coming.

People can still remember clearly (and fondly!) the cat fight on the street between eileen and gail. Well who knows, maybe there's another in store for us...

Mybe it's just me, but I do think that the whole "baby-left-on-doorstep-and-taken-in-by-new-family" cliche is unoriginal.

Looks just like another excuse to have have Ryan Thomas and Tina O Brien all over each other on the front of the magazines if you ask me.

Would be interesting to see how selfish brat Sarah with cope with having someone else's child around for a change though...

I think it could be a very good storyline potentially. Any extra screen time for Eileen is always gonna be a plus and i want to see how this storyline will affect the other major one hitting the Grimshaws at the moment, which is Violet's pregnancy. I like the fact the Grimshaws basically includes Violet and Sean now as it plays off Eileen's role as a real mother hen.

I wait with anticipation.

I don't like any of the Platts anymore, they're all so "up their own a** "
so to speak... I'm not looking forward to any of the festive storylines...

think it'll be back to the trustworthy.. "A Christmas Carol" movie for me..

let it snow... let it snow... let it snow.....

Unfortunately though, it's yet another storyline that revolves around one of Eileen's sons....I don't know about anyone else, but I want to see Eileen at the centre of her OWN storyline!

Well, you're biased because you know the girl playing Emma so obviously you're going to say that.

There was really no need for that...

If i may butt in here, i was kinda taken aback by your comment being new to this forum i wasnt expecting that, but i suppose your entitled to your opinion but so am i which is, i can make my own mind up whether i think a storyline is going to be good or not just cos i happen to know the person involved in the storyline.

Please accept my apologies then, as I didn't mean to offend you.

I do still think that one's opinion of a storyline will be slightly swayed if they personally know (and like!) one of the actors involved in real life. But perhaps I could have been a little more tactful in my first response.

Oh and welcome btw...
