No way can you say that Mark's Waltz was better than Matt's.
As for the VW, well, Ray's was probably the best (way better than Mark's). As to whether Matt was better than Mark, it depends how important you think frame is (I think it's vital as to how the dance appears and I'm sorry, back then Mark still had a problem.

There are others Matt and Lilia's waltz etc , not yet ordered them as I need to go back and look .
However , I think Karen's choreography for the waltz is much neglected .It was beautiful , exactly as a waltz should be , lovely entry and exit, great pivot and some very difficuilt moves .I watched Len's masterclass in teh following week's ITT and he was very impressed especailly with the Hovver cross and was ity a reverse lock ?several other very difficult moves. I think it was worth 10 , if mark had got all the heel leads .The hold and posture were great and and it was a fantastic tune .
Watching the final VW again , it is also very clear that Mark's finishing is so much better than Matt's .Take a look at the very start and end and his line is lovely , compare to Matt .Also when they all do the twirls at the end and Mark and Matt have to take up hold again , watch mark and it is so much better , arms open and lovely line .
