Please help. Why cant i change the colour or sharpness levels on my tv when i have equipment set up by scart cable and on RGB (eg. dvd or sky+)

When using RGB( Red, Green and Blue) the colours are sent as seperate signals to your TV and feed the display directly. Since they bypass the TV hardware that is used to adjust the various parameters of composite/s-video and RF input signals you can not adjust them.
