Does anyone know for definate if she will be in the SCD xmas thing?
Also Most of the celebs eliminated have been back to watch the show but am i right in thinking she hasn't?

I haven't seen her in the audience, but I think they all have to come back for the Christmas Special as they are contracted to do so. The only person who didn't come back was Carol Vorderman but she hated the experience so much that it was hardly surprising. Even Fiona came back last year even though she has two left feet!

I'm sure someone who was at the Christmas Special recording can tell us if she was there without letting any secrets out

Wasn't Jan in the audience a few weeks ago? I remember her doing these really bad impressions.

Yeah she was and Bruce was quizzing her on her bizarre attitude to leaving.

I think Claire will turn up. I think she was unhappy with her partnership with Brendan but not bitter

I think both Jan and Claire were shown in snippets on Saturday supporting one or other of the three semi-finalists - only Carol was missing, unless I blinked during that bit.

I thought the xmas show was the final?? *totally confused**

No - the final will be aired on Saturday, as normal, and either Mark or Matt will be the proper winner.

Then on the Monday (Christmas Day), there will be a pre-recorded Christmas Special, when the top 4 from this year and Zoe/Ian and Colin/Erin perform a dance each. Then, based on the judges' scores and the studio audience vote, one of those couples will be the winner of the SCD Christmas Special.

The other couples from this year (Claire, Jan etc) will not be appearing in the Christmas Special, but will be in the final, in the 'previous contestants' dance medley.

I am so looking forward to the final!! Can hardly wait!! I think it must be awfully embarrassing for Claire to come back for the Final and to have to dance again with Brendan after the article in the newspaper. UGH I would hate it!! They looked far from friendly when they were interviewed on Claudia's sofa after they were voted out. There was a huge space between them and the body language spoke volumnes!!

Why do we never see Jill Halfpenny at the Final (last year) or in the audience. I thought the SCD experience had been a good one for her and I am amazed that she has NEVER come back to the show either in the audience or a final!! I mean the show did give her career a big boost and she went on to the show Chicago and became very well known. I find that very odd, I would be grateful!! Even Natashia came back!!

She's been in the audience at least once. She and Darren Gough were interviewed by Bruce and Tess earlier in the year (she was sitting near the judges, if I recall correctly.)

Yes, thats right, she was. It was the first show here the ladies danced (so second in series, I think) and she was interviewed by Brucie during the results show.

I don't think there's any question that she's ungrateful. She couldn't do the Xmas shows the last few years as she's been the main attraction in the pantomimes at the theatre royal in Newcastle. Filming of the xmas special clashed with the panto schedule, and as the panto advertising has all been based around her presence in the cast it would be unlikely she could miss a show to film SCD. Plus with panto rehearsals she would have very little time to practice with Darren.

As for the rumour that she turned it down cos it didn't pay enough: . She's done loads of regional theatre over the last few years, which is at best a little over Equity rates, so its not about the cold hard cash. But then again, what makes the better tabloid story ~ appearing in panto / money-grabbing ingrate??
