Recording 2 progs, watching another - no time slip?

I upgraded to 1.10 on Sat and am delighted (except for the real-time only trim feature which is a significant step back) - nice to be able to dump multiple episodes onto DVD in one go.

Last night, however, I was recording ITV1 and BBC4 and set to watch BBC1 when the phone rang - no probs I thought and hit the pause button. When I came back and pressed play the program commenced in real-time with no buffer to rewind.

I suppose it is right to expect only two buffers, both taken up with recording (how would chase play work otherwise) but I was a bit taken aback not to have a buffer for my current on-screen channel.

I assume this is the way it has always worked (or at least since the intro of chase play) and not some new bug in 1.10

It has always done this. If both tuners are being used then it can not buffer a third...

Thanks - I was pretty certain it had to be that way. I must never have had the need to time-slip live TV when recording 2 programs before.
