I happen to know that I'll be getting a 9200 in my stocking this year, and I also know that it may have been bought a month or more ago.

Before installing it under my TV, I plan to plug it into my computer & get the latest sw version.

Can anyone advise if I can go straight to this latest .10 no matter what's in there already, or will I have to upgrade a step at a time?

Yes, firmwares are all inclusive. You can go straight to 1.00.10 without worrying...
