Hi all.

Great item (PVR80) - got it from Argos yesterday and I can't complain!

The only question is how do you pause a live recording? When I press PAUSE whilst there is a recording in progress, it says:

"Cannot start timeshifting because there is a recording in progress"

It's probably something simple, but could someone please enlighten me?

The box is a "watch one, record another" pvr. Timeshifting is also recording, so if you are recording a channel already you cannot timeshift the one you are watching.

If you want to upgrade the firmware, there is a way to get the box to record TWO channels. All the information is here:

If you want to pause a programme which is already recording, you must go to the Library (LIB) and play it from there first.

I think its always better to press record and start an instant recording than use timeshifting, because it gives you more flexibility.
