Dancing Cricketers

Ok, please forgive me if this doesn't make sense but 1st post you know - I'll probably muck this up.

I've been lurking for quite a while but have decided to join to see if anyone could answer a question that's been bugging me all series.

During series 3 they went through a series of items on ITT showing various members of Darren Gough's family or friends having dance lessons. I think to emphasise the 'everyman getting the world to dance point'.

there was one with Len teaching his sons.
another where his dad & best mate went to a lesson.

and I am pretty sure there was another where they got a couple of his fellow cricketers to dance with a couple of the then eliminated female pro dancers.

I'm kinda of assumming that neither of those cricketers were Mark Ramprakash beacuse it would have been metioned especially if it had been dancing with Karen Hardy but thought I'd ask anyway. He wasn't one of them was he?

On the other hand - Maybe I've dreamt the whole thing up?

Is there someone out there who can enlighten me?

I remember what you're talking about, but no Mark wasn't one of the two cricketers. I don't know their names, although I'd recognise them if I saw them written down, but Mark was definitely not one of them.

It was 2 of the Essex(?) team I think - or whoever Darren plays for...

They were from Essex, sure one was Ronnie "the entertainer" Irani and he dances with Karen, she said afterwards Darren Gough you owe me for that!

Can't remember who the other one was!

Ronnie Irani would be a perfect contestant. He's seriously funny and would keep everybody entertained

Oops - wrong thread.

I was told this was a new Sherlock Holmes adventure!

Mark was definitely not one of the chums - they were definitely clumpier, if good-natured and had been on ITT lots of times.
