Dermis(n)

Inner layer of the skin that remains hidden but contains nerve endings that remain permanently tuned in to SCD references.
eg She was watching an episode of Nip/Tuck (about plastic surgeons)when a tango scene immediately recalled memories of the Vincent/Flavia AT, caused heart fluttering and had to be replayed many times.

summer (n)

period from June to September with non stop rain and general concern that the sun has gone out. Only ray of light comes at the end of 'summer' when SCD starts and nobody cares that we are now officially a monsoon counntry.

"PESSION" - emotion felt by Kiwi dancers and their partners, sometimes leading to strange dance decisions and rule breaking.
