One from the Wifey.
When she puts the torch mode or camera mode on, it starts flashing intermittantly?
Does anyone know why? Is it a fault ( Sony or my Wife)? or is it some specific 'wierded out' feature, so if your stuck on a mountain top, you can use it as an S.O.S.???? LOL

Thanks

I am pretty sure the torch does have an S.O.S function as does mine.

Sorry, know it has an S.O.S function already, was having a giggle.

Just can't work out why the bloody thing starts flashing when trying to take a photo.
Imagine the scene.......get the shot lined up, ask them to wait until the flash lights up before smiling!?!

Sounds like a faulty intermittant connection on the LED, personally.

My 810i had this problem when i first got it. You will find if you download the update service from sony's site, it will upgrade the firmware and solve that problem.

Yeah the SOS feture is different, it shouldn't happen on the camera.

Is the phone under warranty/insurance? Try and get it fixed if so
