currently im on the 8 meg hc service with unlimted anytime calls, this is costing me £32.99 a month. i dont have the tv service and back in september 2005 homechoice supplied a broadband only package which i signed up for, but then hc dropped this without informing me and switched it back to triple play so for the past year ive been paying over the odds price for a service i dont use and dont wish to have , namely hc's crap TV.

Now heres the thing, if Tiscali now own hc how come they offer an 8 meg broadband and unlimted anytime calls for £21.99 a month saving £11 on hc's service, abnd why arent hc customers being offered this.

im waiting to hear what hc has to say and will post there response when and if i get one

anyway heres the tiscali link for those who dont want to pay for hcs over the top prices or those who just want broadband and telephone

Different network for starters, tiscali's is terrible.
Aparently there will be new homechoice packages launched next year which may be more in line with tiscrappi's.

This is not meant to be entirely facetious but why are you still using them?

If it's because you want to keep the email addresses then a colleague of mine at work still accesses them via webmail even though he cut the subsciption off a while back. I can get more details if you like...

But you said that you don't have the TV service - so Sky isn't an issue.

If it's just 8meg broadband you want, pretty much every ISP now offers that nationally cos BT have upgraded most of their network to handle it. And a lot of ISP's now also offer Telephone calls and Broadband (Talk Talk for example, Pipex as well).

Have a look around - once you take the TV service out of the Homechoice package there's loads of other providers with better offers around.

true plenty of isps offer 8 meg service for far less than HC, but what im after is internet and phone package and that narrows the field a little.
currently it seems i have the choice of staying with HC, Sky ( which is way beyond a joke and i wouldnt touch with a barge pole ) , carphone warehouse ( heard bad things about ) or Tiscali, which though they now own HC have a package that doesnt include the TV for only £21.99 a month
