Betting On SCD - Does Anyone Do It?

I'm a chap and I'm happy to admit that I enjoy SCD. I actually prefer the SCD saturday nights to most footie and rugby games.

I also like a bet on who i think is leaving each week and who I think might win the show. Do you other forumites do the same? Lots of people do the lotto and bets on things like the grand national - so why not SCD - as you all know a lot more about it? -just interested to hear your thoughts

I've got £10 at 16/1 on Mark Ramprakash to win.

And £5 at 3/1 for him to be the first to get a perfect score.

I do like to monitor the betting market but I wouldn't bet on RTV because of the extra level of uncertainty created by editorial decisions.

I put £20 on Darren Gough at 8/1 last year. It seemed obvious to me that he was going to win.

After the first show of this series I wanted to bet on Mark but the odds for him were already very short. When did you get him at 16/1?

I'm never tempted to bet on anything... but if I did, I'd go for one of these:

Strictly Come Dancing Final Night Specials

for comedy value! Some of those odds are quite, well, odd... 5/4 that no-one will mention Matt's journey all night- surely it's spectacularly unlikely! I'm also thinking 33/1 that the winner drops the trophy and smashes it might be a good one... because the winner will be beyond exhausted having done a week's hard training and five dances on the night!
