voice on dvd

Hi Guys
Does anyone know if I can record my voice onto the liteon 5027 if so do I need a special mike, there seems to be a few sockets on the front of the dvd related to cameras etc.

Hi you will not be able to record ONLY sound onto a D.V.D. Disc ,You must have a Video/Picture Signal going into the recorder at the same time .You will get the massage on the T.V. Screen NO SIGNAL. A way round this is to input a pictue from a digital camera into the Video input " yellow plug " on the recorder .If you have a digital camera turn it on to T.V. and set it to a picture of your choice hit record and start talking into your mike or from the source of your audio which plugs into the Red and White sockets beside the yellow socket. fw750x

Depends on the recorder - mine will happily record off DAB with no video signal (you get a black screen).
