Whats been your favourite exit from any soap?

Or do you have a fantasy exit for a specific character?

Soapwriters always send people away/run them over/have 'em done in...

Surely there's a more imaginative way to let them leave....

There has been some good exits over the years. From Emmerdale, I think the Kim Tate one was quite good, especially leaving in the Helecopter after faking her own Death. I also liked the Zac exit, where it was just him on his own walking down a road with camping gear singing to himself.

In Eastenders I liked Toms exit. Not the way he died in the fire, but the way they did his wake where they played thats Entertainment by the Jam as they went through him and Marks old haunts around the square. I think thats the best I can think of.

Another common exit is they get on a Coach or a Train to some far away City such as Birmingham and their loved one chases after them to try and make it up, only to miss the Coach or train by seconds to see them pull away.

the last episode had alexis, sable, dex and possibly someone else falling from the rotten balcony of La Mirage Hotel !!

another SCORCHER....but not technically an exit, jjust a cliffhanger,

MELROSE PLACE a few seasons ago when the nutty ginger haired docter decided to blow up the apartment complex, who lived, who died ? i never found out cos sky started showing MP at some unearthly hour !

What about that bloke that 'died' but then it all turned out to be someone's dream? Was it Dallas? I'm too young to remember!

LOL - Dallas! They had a whole season after Bobby's death (when ratings plumetted) - then the first episode of the series Pam went into the shower and there was Bobby washing his armpits!! It had all been a dream ...

Just read on this site that the Tanners are coming back to Coronation Street! That should be fun - Pat Phoenix died years ago. Perhaps that was all a dream too.

My most sadest exit was Butch Dingle in Emmerdale.

Where he was on the coach and the brakes on the Tate lorry failed.

He wed Emily on his death bed and died a short time after *sniff sniff*

Most dramatic had to be Steve Oven (EE) or Sarah Sugen (Emmerdale) or even Rachel from Emmerdale where Psycho Graham pushed her off the cliff!

Eldorado the last scene

Marcus is with Pillar on his boat.

After Pillar Thinks Marcus is dead she gets a note being told to meet her husband sergio.

The they appear on the boat in the backfround with the song played during the last episode

"Things have turned out perfectly" Says Marcus

What says Pilar

What do you think says Marcus

You and me cheers Marcus

IVe got the bracet what was it doing in the car? Pillar

And there was a body in there? Pillar

Who was it? Pillar

The same unfortnaute so and so who stole my car I guess

I don't know Pillar you can't trust anyone these days can you.

Then they sail off in the dark

shame really I miss Eldorado.

Most predictable return in Eastenders - the door of a black cab opens and a leg clad in sheer stockings and a high heel steps out ...

Or the door of the Queen Vic opens, the room goes silent, and in walks ...

How come so many people in Eastenders go to the pub on their own? Doesn't anybody except Barry and Pat stay in to watch telly in the evenings?
