HELP!! New TomTom ONE

Hi! I've just received a new TomTom ONE SatNav for Christmas (the slightly slimmer silver version) and I've put it onto my PC and installed the updated application. I ejected it and turned it off, presuming that was the right thing to do. I then turned it back on later on and it cmae on fine and then a grey/white blank screen appeared! I can't do anything on it, the computer won't recognise it, it won't turn off if I hold the on/off button etc...

Does anyone know how I can get the thing to work again? Will letting the battery die so it goes off and then I turn it back on solve the problem? Please help!

Thanks!

does this use inbult memory? or a card, you could try the card in a card reader or in a digitalcamera and install the software again and give it a try

It should have a reset function, my v1 does. There should be a hole at the bottom you have to stick a pin in. Alternatively, take the card out and re-fit it, that sometimes helps. If neither of those work, head over to the YourNAV forum where I'm sure someone will be able to help.

I have received a Road Angel Navigatore 6000 for a christmas present. When I turned it on initially it was trying to locate the satellites then when I subsequently turned it on is is saying that the SD card isnt inserted when it is. I have tried several times to reinsert the card but still to no avail. Is there anyone out there with any knowledge of this particular problem??

Thanks everyone for helping! I put the card into a card reader, reinstalled the backup i made and then i put a pin in the emergency reset button and it works fine now!

Thanks again!

If you do a soft reset and try then try to use it again it should be fine. A soft reset usually cures the problem. Hope your ONE gets working
