lobster 700tv
just wondered if anyones bought one, and what you think of it. I got one a couple of weeks ago and find its okay, the dab works great so does the tv, it uses win moblie 5 so it has taken a bit of time to get used to , mainly have had nokia s40 and s60 phones but decided to get one of these as it was cheap to buy. £100 plus £25 free phone credit and £25 virgin vouchers also got it unlocked free through virgin, so i`m very happy with it, regards popp

Had a look in a Virgin shop, but seems it is £99 with £25 airtime but did not seem to come with £25 vouchers?.
Online it is £109 with £50 airtime (no vouchers) Has the £25 voucher offer finished? |

I got one in the middle of December, but as I am already a Virgin customer and did not need the sim they gave me £30 + £25 in Virgin megastores vouchers. I still need to send of for the vouchers.
One thing I have found with the phone, if you do a full band search (in or near London) you can get BBC News and ITV Play listing in the TV Guide but the channels don't work. |

Seems according to www.wohnort.demon.co.uk/DAB/ukloc.html ITV play and BBC News are part of an experimental tx in Croydon (1.32 kW) and Leicester Square (1 kW)
"The broadcasts consist of changing multiplex re-configurations to assist in the development and evaluation of receivers and future services." Last edited by hanssolo : 31-12-2006 at 09:11. |

the tv comes over the dab network, so there are no wap charges and after your free 90 days you have to pay £5 a month to update your licence. I have tried it with my o2 sim and still got the tv and dab. you get dab whether you subscribe for a monthly licence. regards popp
