Ok, in an ideal SCD world, I would be picking the contestants.... so here a few I would like to see gracing the floor next year... apologies in advance for my weirdo tastes!!

Waltzing away for the boys:
*Phillip Schofield (minus Gordon the Gopher)
*Michael Ball
*The bloke who plays Guy of Gisborne and was in Vicar of Dibley last night (raaaaaa woof)
*David Tennant (wishful thinking i know!)

And for the girls:
*Charlotte Church (stick her with Brendan for entertainment)
*Claudia Winkleman (I know ITT would suffer but I would love to see her actually in the show!!)
*Catherine Tate

And please please please firstly get the gorgeous vincent back on board and secondly given Anton someone a bit younger and keener!!! No offence to his previous partners but he does seem to get ladies of a certain age and I really really would love to see him in action oooeeer missus!

MERRY CHRISTMAS!!!

Oh! Richard Armitage! I think he'd be great. He looked fab in Vicar of Dibley last night, so nice to see him out of all that black leather!

And I would pay good money to see Catherine Tate ballroom dancing. And the Little Britain boys.

I have a feeling they'll have another eastender on there - stacey slater perhaps? or is that too much like Ruby?

I'd love to see Alan Hansen doing it but I'm sure he wouldn't

I think Catherine Tate would be fantastic but then again that's what we all thought about Jan being paired with Anton. I think David Walliams would get right into it and be fanastic would like to see him with Camilla or Karen.

I want to say Colin Firth but we know that's definitely not going to happen. Shame.

I think they may have another male Eastender. Teehee, thinking about that just conjures up images of Chris Parker doing the Paso Doble.

Lol Chris' Paso bless him, what a sweetheart, the EE people do go far in SCD though even Chris.

We can guarantee there will be at least one Eastenders cast member! It must be written into the contract!

We've got lots of boys... but what about the girls? I find it really hard to pick someone i'd like to see on there!

Back to the boys... what about Jon Culshaw?
FionaH

Nigella Lawson... always quite sensual with food, would she be with Brendan, say?

Hamster has to do it. He would be so much fun

I wouldn't mind Jaime Murray (Hustle http://www.bbc.co.uk/drama/hustle/im...ime_murray.jpg) doing it as well

Strangely I as a, Cardiff resident , well Caerphilly , was aboutto put
please NOT La Church,. anyone but our Char .
I can see the entertainment value with Brendan , but the censor would be worked hard , she is known here now as voice of an Angel , mouth of a sailor and she would need lots of fag breaks .

sorry ,met her , not very nice .

Richrd Hammond ..great choice .
Fiona Bruce would love to do it
Gabby Logan is with teh BBC she can now do it .wassn't Georgina brought in instead of her .

Konnie Huq from BP

Andrew Castle ?

Trinny or Susannah ?

Are we wanting no more sports people ? Nicole Cook ..too busy cycling though .

Ah yes I had forgotten about her sewer mouth. Best not for a family show then!

I know this is a bit ageist, but is there any real point of inviting any celeb who is 50+, to be in any future series. From memory any past celebs over 50 have really struggled to keep up with the younger ones, particularly if they even survive the first few weeks, the physical demands of learning 2 dances a week will take their toll. I have the greatest respect for Jimmy Tarbuck but realistically he was never in with a chance.
