Completely agree - and I am a 'lady of a certain age'. Also Anton deserves someone hot - I reckon his easygoing personality is exploited and he always gets duff middle-aged partners.
The celebs need to be lively, fit, prepared to work quite hard and commit a huge amount of time and effort, without susbequently moaning on about it! They mustn't have too much ego and must remember that the programme is about dancing and not about THEM. These days a lot of us prefer the pro dancers anyway
A cheerful and upbeat personality is pretty useful. However hard it gets (and I appreciate its incredibly hard work) the celebs are a) getting paid and b) having their 'profiles' increased hugely. So quit the moaning (Jan and Carol! Always the women, isn't it?!)
