I take it all back!! That was a flippant comment on my part so apologies to Ballroom Bill (who I actually liked very much!!).
My ideal team would be: Males
David Tennant
Hamster
the weather guy Matt from BBC Breakfast (I don't know his last name)
Adrian Edmundson from Holby City
Guppy (Eyles Gabel) from Casualty Females
Sam Grey (Alice) from Casualty
Carla Romano from GMTV
Beverley Knight
Beth Tweedle
Natalie Blair (Carmella) from Neighbours

I agree. ithink he would be brilliant. Dont think he would do it though. Maybe his sidekick Comedy Dave would have a go instead?
Coincidence enough I have suggested most of the above in a different thread e.g. Nigel Harman, Fearne Cotton, Lacey Turner, Ben Fogle, Kelly Holmes, Debra Stephenson, Richard Hammond and Fiona Bruce. But now that I have watched The Vicar Of Dibley I definteley would like to watch Richard Armitage on the dance floor.
Another name to conjour with is John Barrowman.
One thing to bear in mind, going on recent history with Gabby Logan, ITV are unlikely to allow any of their existing "stars" to take part.
And The Hamster is getting a few mentions - what about Jeremy Clarkson (preferably both of them for some good-natured rivalty)?

Yup, I put in my post that I would like all three of the Top Gear guys!
don't forget the bbc have their formula & I can't see them changing it - so that means a couple of soap stars, a radio personality, a bbc news presenter, someone funny, a couple of sports people at least one person over 50 etc
I was looking at the old threads of who should be on this year. Schmeichal, Emma Bunton and Carol Smillie were all mentioned once Louisa Lytton was named a couple of times.
But the most popular celebrity mentioned was Matt dawson.
Girliies
*jennifer aniston go with brendan
*nikki graham go with brendan!
*eva longoria to dance with sexy brendan!!!
*lacey turner -(stacey from eastenders) she could also go with brendan
*loads other girls but can't think just now p.s i love brendan any fans join our thread!

Just started watching the miniseries 'North & South', with Richard Armitage,....*thud* I love him as the baddie Sir Guy of Gisborne in 'Robin Hood', and he's absolutely gorgeous as 'Harry' in the Christmas Special of 'The Vicar of Dibley' (plays Geraldine's new love interest,....*swoon*) So I gonna repeat myself again in saying,.....I want Richard Armitage in next yrs Strictly!!!
