Just before xmas I had a thread asking for reccomendations for a cheap multi-region DVD player.. Turns out that that never got bought, and now we've decided to get a multi-region DVD recorder instead if at all possible.
I have one at home I got from Aldi a year or two ago for £99 which has been brilliant, and now my boyfriend's after one. Does anyone know of any current offers? Buying online would be fine, or any cheap supermarket/store deals.

It has to be multi-region, and preferably in the same sort of price range as mine (£100). If there's one with built-in freeview that'd be great (and worth some extra cash), but I suppose that's stretching it a bit (to have multi-region and freeview; if so, we'll just get a freeview box seperately).

Thanks in advance for any reccomendations!

i got a liteon A110 DVD recorder from tescos recently - £67

it has a hack to make it region free. (can google it)

i am very satisfied with it so far. it can record on DVD-R/RW or DVD+R/RW

2 scarts at back

its also a nice compact size, about the size of a sheet of A4, doesnt take up much space.

the only thing i am not too keen on is the remote control which is like one of those flat credit card-slim types (takes a lithium battery), but its no big deal. Also it only comes with a 'quickstart' instructions sheet, for the full manual you need to download it as a pdf from their website
