My 710 seems to have developed a "new" fault of late, which I think is similar to the locking up as detailed in another thread, but not the same.
It has taken to suddenly rebooting itself, and annoyingly this has happened three times during a recording - and crucially in the last couple of minutes (I think it must "know!)
Suddenly I see the "RECOVERY" or "WELCOME!" message and it boots up from scratch. The trouble is, when this happens during a recording, it has not got to the end and hence does not write the recording to the disk - and all that was recorded is lost.
This also happened whilst I was watching a home made DVD-R.
I wonder if anyone else has suffered this?
