sony RDR-GX120 dvd recorder
Has anyone come across this dvd recorder?
I got it free with my new tv, but somtimes it won't play my collection of dvd-r disks. Is there a firmware update or do I just have to put up with it? |

They only record on '+' disks, but should play '-' disks OK, they are a pretty cheap and nasty thing though - and their auto-tuning is so slow as to be unbelieveable!. I've installed LOT'S of them, and it takes between 40-60 minutes for the DVD recorder!.
