I know some of you have been having problems with this disc
(Sam for one! and me). I came across this in "What Video & TV" March issue, It maybe of some help.

Colombia Tristar Home Video has re-pressed the Special Features disc of the Region 2 Gladiator DVD release, found to cause problems in certain players...Wharfdale, Grundig, Proline...and I guess Sony 735 (mine!).
To obtain a re-pressed replacment disc, send your Gladiator Special Features disc (NOT disc 1 containing the movie) to:

Mail Marketing/CTHV,
FREEPOST MID 18904,
PO Box 380,
Nottingham NG7 3ZU.

No stamp is required...As the returned disc will be destoyed it does not reqire special packaging. If you do not send the original disc Tristar is unable to send the replacement. For enquires TEL: 0141 300 4903.

A friend of mine has the Wharfedale 750 and he got sent the re-pressed disc a while ago, and the bad news is TPO that the exact same problem occurs on my Sony 735 (his Wharfedale plays the new disc).

Its not really a big problem, just a glitch in the disc, but it is annoying.

Curiously, on another forum, I was told that the problem does not crop up on the R1 version of this disc when played on the 735, so if you've got a multi-region machine and you can get rid of your R2 disc, the American release may help you (and me).
