Which 37" budget LCD. Help required.

OK, my samsung rear projection blew up on Christmas day.

So I need a 37 (or 40) inch HD ready LCD that is not too expensive.
Having looked on web I have come up with :

1. Techwood 37" from Woolworths £550
2. LG 37" LE2R from pixmania £630
3. Vestal or Viewpia from Savastore £600 - £630.

or spending up to £800 for toshiba, panasonic etc.

Has anyone got any views on the above or some great deal somewhere i have not seen.

I am flexible (ish) on price if quality is vastly improved.

Help appreciated.

WXGA (1,366x768-pixel) panel resolution won't be able to
display the latest 1080p format used by next-generation
video and games devices, such as HD DVD players or the
PlayStation 3.

The Panasonic Plasma Viera TH37PX60 which is a 37" is going for £799 at the moment at Currys which is excellent value... and the TH42PX60 which is a 42" plasma is going for £899 which is an absolute steal.

The panasonics are going cheap at the moment due to overstocking from what I understand.

I know it's a bit above your price range... but the picture is unbeatable and vastly superior to the 3 budget LCD's you mentioned... so if you can stretch ur budget a little it's well worth it.

I've just bought this from Pixmania... I recommend it for the size at that price.

You can get the Samsung LE32R73BD for £599 from Dixons at present. Pick it from the list, uncheck the unasked for SCART cable then add it to your basket. When you get through to the checkout, add a voucher code of 218711DIX and click the Update button (not press enter) and it'll reduce the price to £599.
