iriver h10 problem

My H10 has been working fine for some time however now for some reason when i turn it on it shows the iriver logo screen for quite a while and then says

System Files Missing
To restore the system files, connect the H10 to iriver plus.

The only way i can then get this screen off is to take the battery out!

When i connect the iriver to my computer its screen says USB connected but nothing happens. And iriver plus is not picking it up.

Any ideas what i can do?

You can download recovery tool from iriver.com, if that doesnt pick up your device then it could be an hard drive problem, aparently if you have droppped orbanged your iriver the arm on the hard drive can dislodge, it can be fixed but if your H10 is under 2 years old send it to iriver by getting a RMA from their website, i did it and i didnt even have a retail receipt just the global waaranty card.
