Heres how it is.

I have a 32 inch Panasonic Wide Screen TV with Dolby Pro logic Surround Sound(so it says)

It has 2 front built in speakers L&R. .A built in Centre Speaker + A built in Sub Woofer+2

rear Speakers remote L&R 6 Speakers in all.

After Christmas I find myself with a Phillips Home Entertainment System.

This consists of a DVD player+ 2RearSpeakers L&R +2 front Speakera L&R I Centre Speakers

+ 1 Subwoofer 6 speakers in all.

Do I really need a home entertainment system. ? Should I just connect up the DvD and not

bother with all the home entertainment Speakers. or should I connect the complete home

entertainment system and Disable the TV speaker system.

Which one of the 2 Systems is Best. Is there any differance between the 2 Systems

I haven't a clue. Any one have any suggestions please.

Sorry I didn't realise how difficult my question was

20 views and not a single reply. I thought someone was sure to have an answer. Ah well never mind.

You have direct access to both units, which do you think is best?

There is no practical way for anyone to judge the performance of two systems in an unknown enviroment unless they are significantly aimed at different markets/price points.

Personally I would discard them both and have seperates barring that I would never use integrated speakers in a TV for a surround sound system, nothing technical or logical just personal opinion.
