No 1: m and K's AT, without doubt, even though it's not on the list!

1. Colin and Erin's Quickstep (for me they were undermarked throughout series 3).
2. Jill and Darrens jive 3. Mark and Karens' Salsa (overmarked) 4. Darren and Lilia'a quickstep (was never a 40 in my eyes) Only my opinion though! |

And what a great jump he did at the end
Saying that though I still think Mark and Karen's A.T is the best thing ever. |

Based pure on technicality I would say:
1) Colin and Erin's Quickstep 2) Darren and Lilia's Quickstep (shoot me, but it was really really good IMO) 3) Jill and Darren's Jive 4) Mark and Karen's Salsa but... based on how much joy these performances brought me: 1) Mark and Karen's Salsa 2) Darren and Lilia's Quickstep (I'll never forget Christmas Eve 2005 ha ha) 3) Colin and Erin's Quickstep 4) Jill and Darren's Jive And yes, Mark and Karen's AT should have got full marks because it was the most exciting, gorgeous and mesmerizing dance out of four seasons of SCD. 1. Colin and Erin's quickstep - breathtaking
2. Jill and Darren's jive - astounding 3. Mark and Karen's salsa - funky 4. Darren and Lilia's quickstep - very good for a chunky cricketer but by far the best dance I've every seen - I'm still recovering from it - was... yes.... you guessed it..... Mark and Karen's Argentine Tango yaaaaaaaayyyyyyyyy!

Jill and Darren's jive was the best by a mile IMO, and the only dance that I thought deserved a 40/40 score!
I thought Mark and Karen's AT was much better than their salsa but I didn't think either were really in the same league as Jill's jive in terms of technical difficulty, warmth or quality of choreography really! |

My list: Mark and Karen's Salsa/Jill and Darren's Jive Colin and Erin's Quickstep Darren and Lilia's (a long way behind the others) Last edited by CheekyPea : 30-01-2007 at 18:01. |

Jill and Darrens Jive closely followed by Darren and Lilias quickstep
None of the other two had the same magic for me! |

1. Mark and Karen's Argentine Tango (What do you mean it didn't get 40?
what kind of crazy judge wouldn't have given a 10? )2. jill and Darren's Jive / Mark and Karen's Salsa 3. Colin and Erin HUGE GAP 4. Darren and Lilia (sorry he was good but others in a different class) |

1. Jill and Darren's Jive
One huge, unbridgeable gap 2. Colin and Erin's Quickstep A smaller gap 3. Mark and Karen's Salsa 4. Darren and Lilia's Quickstep Apart from Jill's jive and Colin's Quickstep, I'm not sure the others really deserved 40 marks. For me, Jill, Colin, and Zoe (as well as a few odd dances from the likes of Denise) produced dances which I much preferred to Mark's Salsa and certainly to Darren's Quickstep, even if they didn't get the full 40. |

M+Ks Salsa
J+Ds Jive I'm not bothering with the other two dances because 1: They were danced in the x-mas special and not the actual SCD competition. (the judges usually are a bit more free and easy when dishing out marks) 2: I struggle to remember C+Es Quickstep and D+L Quickstep. thats jmo though. |

1. Jill and Darren's Jive.
2. Mark and Karen's salsa. Pure joy. 3. Darren and Lilia's Quickstep. Technically fantastic, and as Arlene said 'I salute the showman' especially at the wonderful bit in the middle of Darren producing mistletoe for he and Lilia to kiss under! 4. Colin and Erin's Quickstep. Only because as a partnership, they really didn't do much for me. Two dances that should have got 40. Mark and Karen's AT. Unforgiveable of Craig. Shall never, never forgive him, especially when he was happy giving 9's out to Emma for far less. James and Camilla's Tango. Over the heads of the judges unfortunately, but for me the greatest ever dance on SCD. A masterpiece. |
