Recording 24 Day 6 for playback in N.Z.

I have just bought a Sony HDX 860 and am pretty pleased with it. My brother lives in N.Z. and they are just screening the end of Day 5 over there. As is is transmitted on Sky One in the U.K. from 21st January, I thought I would record and dub the episodes to DVD and send them to him.

Are there any problems with this? Will he need a multi-region player?

No problems with regions, your DVD recorder will record it region-free. I think NZ are PAL, so there should be no issues. If he's got internet access then using that would probably be easier and save a bit in postage though!

Not thought of the Internet. How would I get the video files to him though? Can you extract them from the DVD the SONY will burn?
